Dear Parents,
My name is Ms. Chinelo. I am a preschool teacher who developed interest in early childhood education because of my passion and desire to nurture children, and assist them to utilise their unique qualities in order to attain their respective full potentials. In my previous career I enjoyed my time as part of the corporate social responsibility team of the organisation, more so because it was child-centred, with a focus on children with special needs. My passion for children and my enthusiasm for child-focused projects enabled me to drive our initiatives to achieve significant success. There was however a desire within me to further channel my passion and drive in a school setting where I would be able to engage with and impact more children. This led to the change in career environments. I want to nurture children to have the best possible start in life.
I have a bachelors degreee in Accounting and a Cache Level 3 qualification. I have also acquired training in early childhood education from Cambridge International Qualifications. Understanding that we live in a dynamic society where improvement should be routine, I have strived to add to my wealth of knowledge through participation in continuous professional development (CPD) trainings.
I believe that each child is unique and has the ability to achieve his or her potential, according to the child’s specific talent, especially when enabled with the proper support. This starts, in many cases, with the environment they are exposed to and allowed to thrive in during their early developmental stage. Utilising the principle of scaffolding in early childhood and enabling children to progress in their development thrills me, and at the same time fuels and drives my passion.
I value working in partnership with parents and promote play-based learning so that your child can acquire knowledge in a fun and engaging way, and at the same time have the liberty to explore and enjoy childhood.
I am humbled by the opportunity to guide and learn from your little angels. At the same time, I am excited to assist them to overcome challenges in order to co-nurture them and co-provide the foundation required to attain their full potentials.
