Confidence in ourselves allows us to tackle challenges, believe in our abilities and opens us up to learn and deal with challenges in life. Children learn every moment of every day and building up their confidence is a critical part of their development while they are at StepUp Nursery. Socializing with other children and teachers instills confidence in themselves which is very important in helping form relationships with others. Confidence also helps teach children to take responsibility for themselves and their actions.
StepUp Nursery offers many activities that help build confidence in children including Intro to Cooking, Arabic, Dance & Movement, Confidence Counseling, doing art projects, learning to recognize letters and numbers, learning about and playing on musical instruments. Specifically, Confidence Counseling is done weekly with the children in the Little Lions, Tiny Turtles and Dazzling Dolphins so that the children have the opportunity to be in front of their peers to develop their public speaking skills.
