Dear Parents,
My name is Megan and I am from Northern Ireland and Scotland. I have been in Dubai since 2009. I am the Tiny Turtles Circle Time Teacher and Late Time Ladybugs Teacher here at StepUp Nursery!
Whilst growing up I gained experience in schools through my mother who has been a Nursery Teacher for 25 years and my goal has always been to follow in her footsteps. I regularly had the opportunity to shadow her in her classroom and always loved going with her to work and helping with activities for the children.
Since finishing my school education, I have sought experience teaching in 3 different nurseries, working with the Early Years from ages 3 to 10. I also spent a month in Kathmandu and Bandipur, Nepal where I taught the EYFS Curriculum in Deurali Primary School.
I am currently doing further studies in Early Years Education as my goal for the future is to become an Early Years Practitioner. I will be completing my studies around my work at StepUp Nursery.
Teaching is my passion and I think that it is an incredible opportunity to be able to be an influence in children’s lives and watch them grow. I am so excited to get to know your children at StepUp Nursery.
